Bahrain Nursing & Midwifery Society is the collective voice for nurses and midwives in Kingdom of Bahrain to maintain the profession while catalyzing excellence and innovation in nursing and midwifery practice, education, and research contributing to individual and community health.

Objectives
⦁ Promote the development the nursing and midwifery profession in the area of education, practice, research and professional development in cooperation with heath authorities and institutions.
⦁ Support development of strategies and standards pertaining to the nursing and midwifery professions in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
⦁ Participate in the advancement of high quality of health care for citizen and residence in kingdom of Bahrain
⦁ Promote the safety and wellbeing of nurses and midwifes in work place.
⦁ Promote the professional development of all nurses and midwives and foster high standard of practice through implementation of continuous professional development activities
⦁ Support research and publish studies in all nursing and midwifery
⦁ Encourage the dissemination of evidence-based finding and practice on guidelines, protocols. Clinical pathways, research projects relevant to nursing and midwifery education and practice
⦁ Take an active role in health promotion of the population
⦁ Foster collaboration and professional relation ship between nursing and midwifery associations in GCC, the region, international council of nurses (ICN) and international confederation of Midwife (ICM).
